It is my blog. It offers opinions about charities, fundraising, and the kind of stuff that makes the world a better place.
I started it back in 2007 and as you’ll see I go through phases of enthusiasm.
Most people I’ve chatted to about blogging sympathise with that. Blogging works well when the blogger has a sense of purpose.
My intentions were to illustrate to a whole bunch of people what blogging was about. Now they get it. In fact many of them are much more frequent bloggers than I am. From time to time I read their blogs and just want to lift them onto my shoulders in celebration. Other times I have been inspired to recall my mum’s suggestion that “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything”. I get a bit put off by the preaching and lecturing that blogging facilitates.
Anyway excuses aside… I know that a whole bunch of people do come and check this out. And to be honest that flatters me… so I keep popping back and adding things.
